NOVA Natural Birth Center Information Session
Most Tuesdays at 7pm, Peggy and Kim offer a free information session and tour of NOVA Natural Birth Center.  Schedule online to reserve your spot at an upcoming session.

Natural Birth Meetup
Once a month, Peggy and Kim host The Natural Birth Meetup, a free information class for people interested in learning more about homebirth and about NOVA Natural Birth Center. They usually show a birth video, offer a tour of NOVA Natural Birth Center, and have a time where you can ask your questions about midwifery care, homebirth, and pregnancy. The Natural Birth Meetup is scheduled to meet on the first Saturday of the month from 4-6pm. If you are interested in attending, please sign up online.

Birth Day Planning Meeting
NOVA Natural Birth Center hosts a Birth Day Planning Meeting for clients to attend the month before their birth month. Join us to discuss what needs to be done and how to prepare for your baby's birth day. We will also discuss postpartum and baby care. The Birth Day Planning Meeting is held the first Thursday of the month from 7-9pm, and is intended for established clients only. If you are interested in attending, please sign up online so we know you'll be able to join us.

NOVA Dads Meetup
Barry Pekin, husband of midwife Kim Pekin, hosts a Dads Meetup on the second Saturday of every month at 1pm for expecting and experienced dads. Topics include how to bond with your newborn, how to support your partner throughout labor and pregnancy, and what men face as fathers and husbands in today's society. If you are interested in attending, please sign up online.

Natural Baby Care Class
The Cloth Nook holds a Natural Baby Care Class at NOVA Natural Birth Center for expecting and new mothers. The class is held on the fourth Saturday of every month at 1pm. Some topics include sleep solutions, babywearing, cloth diapering, playtime. Registration is $25 for birth center clients and $80 for non-clients. If you are interested in attending, please pay and sign up online.

Yoga Class
On Tuesdays at 6:30pm, NOVA Natural Birth Center offers a free yoga class for mothers. Register online and bring a non perishable food item to donate to Reston Interfaith.

Doula Meet and Greet
On the second Thursday of every other month, NOVA Natural Birth Center hosts a Doula Meet and Greet for doulas and expecting parents. Parents will be able to interview different doulas and find the best match for them! If you are interested in attending, please sign up here.

DONA Postpartum Doula Training
If you are interested in helping new babies, mothers, and families to get started on a good life together, you should consider becoming a postpartum doula! Beginning on Saturday, June 1st, NOVA Natural Birth Center is hosting a DONA-certified 3 day comprehensive postpartum doula workshop for $450. Register here!

HypnoBirthing
Beginning on June 8th, NOVA Natural Birth Center is hosting a HypnoBirthing class. HypnoBirthing returns to a woman the art of birthing in a way that allows her to summon her natural birthing instincts and that severe pain does not need to be a natural accompaniment to labor. Doula Training Workshop
Want to learn how to provide emotional and physical support to families during childbirth? Beginning on Friday, June 14th, join us for a 3 day comprehensive workshop for doula certification! Our very own student midwife, Jo Crawford, is teaching the class for $350. Register here!

Face of Birth Movie Screening
On Saturday, July 20th at 6pm NOVA Natural Birth Center is hosting a screening for a very compelling movie: The Face of Birth. The Face of Birth is a film about pregnancy, childbirth, and the power of choice. It is one of the most comprehensive films every made on birthing.
